How my journey began
When I moved away from home, I had no idea that I would land in Utah. I was 20 years old and headed west to find my own life. I ended up in Southern Utah with my Jeep and my dog and have lived here for 10 years, figuring out how to manage life with the help of my new friends and family.
Being so far from childhood friends, family, and familiar places taught me many great life skills from different perspectives and places. Some things still took me a while to figure out!
Life is full of unexpected things
and the resources you have available to deal with those things are constantly changing. Taking care of yourself is the best way you can be prepared to deal with the things that come from life! Even when our path changes and the road ahead is unknown, the things you learn about your health, diet, and life in general will be there to guide you through your next experience.
IVF is our next Adventure
Like most big things in life, my husband and I didn’t see it coming. We didn’t expect IVF to be our vehicle for starting a family. From the first time I heard that I won’t be having children naturally to our most recent frozen embryo transfer, IVF has been a series of learning experiences for us. We hope that by sharing the things we’ve learned along the way, we can help those who also turn down this path unexpectedly.
